Detail Itinerary of 8 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi Airport, You will be meet at the airport by our representative/ Chauffeur who give you a warm welcome with fresh flower garlands and transfer to your hotel

Day 2: Delhi sightseeing drive to Agra

After breakfast we leave for a sightseeing tour of New Delhi we visit the 11th century Qutab Minar Tower, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, who took possession of Delhi in 1206. It is a red sandstone tower, standing tall at a height of 72.5 metres and is covered with intricate carvings and verses from the holy Qur’an. Style, The India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war and drive past the grand government buildings the President’s House and Parliament House all dating back to the time of British Raj, Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January, 1948. Two museums dedicated to Gandhi are located nearby and Old Delhi Jama Masjid with rickshaw ride at Spice Market.

Day 3: Agra sightseeing

This morning we drive leisurely to the home town of Taj Mahal – Agra, takes us through the beautiful countryside and On arrival at Agra we check in hotel. Post lunch we leave to explore the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays), one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife. It’s a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone – « undoubtedly the highlight of the tour ».

Later we visit Agra Fort, UNESCO World Heritage Site this powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques. Evening we free for shopping and personal activities.

Day 4: Agra / Jaipur (240 Kms / 4 Hrs)

After breakfast we drive to Pink city of Jaipur – Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this ‘pink city’ is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa – Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture.

Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, UNESCO World Heritage Site which has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town”. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of This superb walled city remain intact to This day.

Enroute visit Chand Baori is a stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan; it is one of the largest stepwell in the world and also one of the most beautiful ones. Located in the eastern part of the province of Rajasthan, it was built by King Chanda somewhere in the 9th century.

The Chand Baori is not an easy landmark to find, thus it is one of the hidden secrets of India!

Transfer to Ranthambhore, former hunting preserve of the Maharajas, famous for the wildlife sanctuary, which is said to have the India’s friendliest tigers and considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. It is a wonderful place for bird watching too.

Day 5: Ranthambore Tiger safari

Leave for a morning safari to Ranthambore National Park. One of the largest national parks in India, its located in Rajasthan and has attracted several wildlife photographers and nature lovers. A particularly fascinating sight here is the Royal Bengal Tiger. After enjoying the morning safari, you return to the hotel room for a hearty breakfast. The afternoon is also reserved for a safari to the park. This is followed by an overnight stay at a heritage hotel or similar property.

Day 6: Ranthambore to Jaipur

Jaipur (Pink City) – Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this ‘pink city’ is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa – Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture.

Moring after breakfast, at 10 am drive to Jaipur.

Check in to the hotel. Day at leisure.

Day 7: Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, followed by a sight-seeing tour of the city visiting the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber – ascend the imposing fort on a decorated painted elephant On the way back we stop to view the elegant Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world.

After lunch we tour the Maharajah’s City Palace, now partly a museum display a unique fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and house a rare collection of paintings, Rajput armoury and costumes. Later we explore the city on our own and indulge in shopping for gemstones, silver jewellery, Paintings, blue pottery and hand printed textiles that Jaipur is renowned for.

Lastly we visit Jaipur’s Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site this is the most significant, most comprehensive, and the best preserved of India’s historic observatories. It is an expression of the astronomical skills and cosmological concepts of the court of a scholarly prince at the end of the Mughal period. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Galta ji temple and drive to Delhi (260 Kms / 4-5 Hrs)

After breakfast check out and Visit to Galta ji Temple (Monkey Temple)

Galta Ji is a large Hindu temple complex that lies 10km to the east of Jaipur. These temples are a popular tourist attraction as they are home to a large colony of monkeys and this has given rise to the common name of the complex, the monkey temple. Galta Ji Jaipur is a unique Hindu temple as it is centered around a natural spring that has been channeled to fill seven large pools. In these pools pilgrims come to bath away their sins while, at quiet moments, the playful monkeys can be found swimming in the holy waters.

Drive to Delhi.
